Bachelor of Education
The Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) at Sukuna Multiple Campus is a four-year professional degree program affiliated with Tribhuvan University. It is specifically designed to produce qualified, competent, and socially responsible teachers for the secondary level of education in Nepal. The program offers a unique blend of theoretical pedagogical knowledge and intensive practical training, including real-world teaching practice (Internship) in local schools. Candidates must have successfully completed 10+2 or equivalent in any stream (Education, Science, Management, or Humanities) from a recognized board. A minimum 'D+' grade in each subject of Grade 11 and 12 with a CGPA of 1.8 or higher. Students must pass the entrance examination conducted by the Faculty of Education, Tribhuvan University, if applicable for that academic session.
Teaching: Graduates are primary candidates for permanent and temporary teaching positions in Government (Community) and Private schools. Government Service: Eligibility to appear for Teacher Service Commission (TSC) and Public Service Commission (Loksewa Aayog) exams. Education Management: Roles as School Coordinators, Academic Supervisors, or Vice-Principals. NGO/INGO Sector: Working as Education Officers, Program Coordinators, or Trainers in organizations focused on literacy and educational development. Curriculum Development: Contributing to the design and evaluation of instructional materials for educational boards. Higher Education: Provides a direct pathway to pursue a Master of Education (M.Ed.) or other specialized educational research degrees.
