Bachelor of Information Communication and Technology
BICTE is an innovative 4-year program that merges Information Technology with Educational Science. It aims to produce ICT-literate educators and IT professionals who can bridge the digital divide in Nepal's education system and the growing software industry.
10+2 or equivalent in any stream (Science, Management, Education, or Humanities). Minimum CGPA of 1.8 or 'D+' in each subject. Passing the entrance examination conducted by the Faculty of Education, TU.
IT Education: Computer Teachers in secondary and higher secondary schools. Software Development: Full-stack developers, UI/UX designers, and Database administrators. System Administration: Managing IT infrastructure for schools, colleges, and local government. E-Learning Specialist: Designing digital curriculum and instructional materials.
